My ankle is finally on the mend. I had a shot of something (Cortis - something) and it doesn't hurt anymore. But I have a week of Advil and stretches then I can get out and start running again! Yeah? I've missed it, but it was nice to have an excuse to skip the exercising for three months.
So if I am going to get back into this running business I am going to need some new songs to update my shuffle. I was beginning to bore (only a little) of what I had and I left off hustling around the track to the Star Trek soundtrack by the time my ankle injured itself. It's a great track, don't get me wrong, it's just I...well, there is only so much running you can do imagining a harrowing escape in a pod or trying to get to a unobstructed place to be beamed to safety by Scotty. Loads of fun, but I'm ready to move on to something new...regretfully.
(Have you seen the movie, by the way? Love It!)
SO! I need your suggestions of favorite songs to get me up and going again. I am a little nerdy when it comes to music and steal favorite songs from others cause I don't know how to find them on my own.
Thank you for you assistance.
I will dedicate my next 5K race to you all.
Make it so.

My current running music is the Biggest Loser soundtrack...it's got a beat?? You need something theatrical though...maybe a good soundtrack of some sorts. I just don't know which one to tell ya to get. Good luck and let me know when your running your next race...I would love to run with ya!
I like "dancing through life" and "the wizard and I" from Wicked. But, my current very favorite is that song that the wedding couple danced to. I think it's called "forever" by Chris Brown
I love all of the Glee soundtracks! They really get my heart rate up!!! The first one is my favorite.
I downloaded some Northern Pikes, and love love them. not only because they're cool, but because I feel like I'm 14 again.
Who sang "fish-heads"? Wasn't it them?
fish heads, fish heads, roly poly fish heads.
YOU RUN....WHY
just kidding
How about ABBA
or Barry Manilow
See, I am too old for the music you would like
love ya
WHAT did you do to your ankle??
