For Christmas we granted Erin permission to get her ears pierced.
Mixed feelings about it.
She LOVES having earrings and can't wait to switch them out next month.
Man she's so big.

I'm recovering from surgery.
I had a tumor in my saliva gland removed and the reports came back
that it was benign and should not reoccur. Yippee!
I might have some side effects but the most important one that might have happened didn't. Phew!!
The facial nerve goes right through the spit gland so they had to be really careful not to damage that nerve. And they didn't. And I'm so glad.
My sister Cally came down to help out which was so nice.
But I wish I wasn't drugged and sore so we could have had more fun.
I think I might have to fake another need and have both sisters required to come help but the chance of infection would be high so I would have to recover in some comfy resort hotel with both girls in attendance. And room service. And spa service.
And JD should probably come for the heavy lifting. Oooo.

Oh my gosh!!! How sad! Glad it wasn't worse but, Ugh. Sorry you had to go through that. Sending live and a speedy recovery. ( are you sure this isn't just a fake story about your recent face lift? I did have a friend tell me she was having a lump removed in her breast and I was so worried I called the rs and arranged meals and spread the word that she was having major surgery... Could't help noticing afterwards that the removed lump sure made everything look quite perky and enlarged. Hah.)

I am sure that was a stressful time for you.
and YES, due to the stress and trauma of this surgery, I think Brian needs to fly you and your sisters to a comfy resort so you can appropriately recover, with those maidens attending to you.
Erin is growing up for sure. Emma's daughter Olivia had her ears pierce (gosh, how long has it been?) over a year anyway.....and she is kind of tired of them now.
Also Matt's daughter Kyleen got hers pierced for her birthday last August.
That looks like a big cut. Hope you are felling better!

Erin's hair cut is so cute and she looks so grown up! Earrings!!! Oh no, we told Eden 12 but when she hears Erin got to have them ... I'm in for it!
