big city, fun times

Jaden Boy! Such a sweet beautiful boy.
Cally - There's the Radio City Music Hall.
Corrie - Where?
Cally - right there.
Corrie - Where? I don't see anything.
Cally - Follow my finger. That neon sign that says Radio City Music Hall right in front of us.
Corrie - Oh! I see it! That's it?

(repeat discussion substituting almost every landmark we visited! I had the hardest time seeing those things! I felt a little ditsy. Cally was very patient with me.)

We missed the Empire State building. Did we pass it? Wait - what does that banner on that building across the street say?

Oh...there it is. It was hard to recognize from where we were standing. Never mind the banners.

Wow! Tall building. And to think we were standing right across from it wondering where it was for 5 minutes!

That can't be it! It had lions! Where are the lions?

We walked a couple more blocks in confusion when we saw the lions!
I knew there were lions. We had the wrong building the first time.
suprise, suprise

And there is the Statue of Liberty!
Well, A statue of liberty.

Central Park was super!

So beautiful.

With a castle! It's actually a weather station now, but still cool.
- and tree shade.

walking around - in search of Balto.

A rare look at cranky cally.

She LOVES the subway and all its unpredictability, adventure and down right splendor.

What she really loves is my enjoyment of gathering materials for my documentary

"A Bloggers Trip to New York City!"
(coming soon to a blog site near you!)
...the coolest door. jd found it.
Neat things to look at around every corner in that huge, busy, fascinating city.

fun! it sounds like you and Cally are good travel buddies. That can make or break a trip!

Glad I married my travel buddy (of course now we don't have time or money to travel - bitter irony).
