Why, do you ask am I posting about a pancake instead of the pictures of my New York trip as promised in the last post?

Because I have been thinking about these things every since my return from that great city that never sleeps and has the greatest food to boot!
Tears come to my eyes as I comtemplate the unexpected scrumptiousness of a mere pancake. Actually it was two. Two pancakes.
So I've been searching for the Bobby Flay recipe from Miracle Grill and have been struggling. So I decided to settle and just find any blue corn pancake recipe and try to duplicate the "miracle" myself. When lo and behold the wonderful powers of google led me to this page.
Haven't tried it out yet, but it's gotta be the one! It's got his name and everything! What a genius. It's a pancake for heavens sake! But Oh, what a pancake.
I'll let you know after I find blue corn meal. Shouldn't be that tough in Alabama...Not that I haven't been looking for buckwheat flour for six months either.

yeah, you're crazy!! just buy regular corn meal and put some blue food coloring in it.

That would be right up Rena's alley - you'll have to let her know how it turns out. Sounds yummy. probably a little tastier then my Krusteaz mix eh.
