It's my birthday!
I'm 34.
A good age. It seems to me.
And even though I feel like my brain isn't as sharp/quick/retentive as I'd like it to be, I have been thinking. Thinking a lot. Like, contemplation thinking.
Am I doing this right? Am I doing my best? Do I really get it?
I'm going to step it up.

A New Year.
A new age. For me.
Now, I have also been thinking about resolutions. Goals.
Last year I didn't set any until I completed them. This year do I actually write them down first? Do I actually write down the things I'd like to work harder on, the things I'd like to try, the things I'd like to try to leave behind/forget/overcome?
Do I commit?
I think I will. I think I will make a list.
I will do my best and enjoy the results.
I will.

I had your birthday written down and everything!!! Are you going to pamper yourself today ---you better!! Are you eating lots of cake!!I love you little niece (you will still be my little niece) And for goals, NEVER - NEVER write them down. You don't want anyone to see what you didn't accomplish or a reminder, and then feel all depressed. Just do whatever, and surprise yourself.
