Apparently, I forgot to take Erin in for her four year old check up.
When I called to get her blue form for preschool they said she still needed all those shots. ugh. So today was the day.
The picture above was taken AFTER the finger prick for her iron test. Seriously.

We got so bored waiting in the room for ANYTHING to happen that we took some pictures and a bit of video.
(I also practiced my harmonica a little. I'll have to throw together a concert for you later on.)
She wanted me to take an "after" picture but things didn't quite go as planned. She did laugh a little after the two leg pokes, but then the nasty crazy arm shot threw her for a loop and it was all down hill from there. Two more in her legs after that. My sweet little pin cushion.
We stopped for a milkshake and a quick trip to Target and all was well.
No more shots until she's 11. Except for maybe the flu shot. They are coming out with a flu nose pray thingy instead though. I'll have to do some research on that. Wouldn't that be nice.

Elena got the nose spray flu shot, it was great no pain what soever and over in like 10 secs. It's supposed to be just as effective. Although it was $10 more - but oh so worth it!
So sad, the shots hurt!!
She's so adorable. Tell Erin that anytime she wants to get together with "Big Steve" and have a playdough party that I would be more than willing.
