Today's the day!
First day of school for my little pin cushion.
She was at my bedside at 4 am this morning because she just couldn't sleep! I asked if she was nervous about school and she said "Moooom, It's just that... I'm too excited."
(do you ever hear this tone of 'mom'? She always does it - a drawn out rising note almost whiny, but kind of a question. Does that make any sense? It's almost always followed by "it's just that...")
And if you know Little Miss at all you KNOW that wasn't her first picture.
No arm shelf, but quite the pose.
She picked out her outfit and bow.
New shoes, old backpack.
She loves Maddies old pack and couldn't wait until she could use it.
Our method of counting down how long until something happens - No more sleeps. It's a new day for the both of us.

Totally alone....I remember those days...sometimes I wish they would come back. She is so cute.
