We're hunkered down at home here. Doing nothing. It's been good.
Maddie has slept in as long as possible every morning. She needs better curtains, though. They let in too much sun. She did get one of those sleep eye mask things for Christmas and uses it well.
I used to sleep in on Saturdays. When I was a youth. I'm grateful for a mother that let me. I remember getting so annoyed, however, when the someone would start their piano practicing at 10:00! I still had much sleep in me. I would grump upstairs and complain to my mother that I was trying to sleep down there. She would let me know that by 10:00 life would have to go on whether I was awake or not. 10:00!!! At the time I was incredibly offended.
Selfish, silly youth was I.
10:00! My mom kept everyone quiet for me until 10:00. On a Saturday! What a marvelous lady.

Wow...10:00, half the day is gone by then. You did have a nice mom. My parents loved awakening us at
7 am on weekends so that we could help out around the house (and they totally thought they had let us sleep in by waiting until 7 am to wake us).
Marvelous lady indeed.
