It snowed on Christmas Day

It was perfect!  We left Michigan when Erin was just 2.  She doesn't remember all the snow we had there so she was out first and came in last.  She LOVED the snow.
They built three snowmen who, when melted, left behind a pile of pinestraw.  Their bones.

It's snowing again today!  No school.  No Orthodontist appointment.  No nothin'.  Crazy Alabama.  The kids have all grown out of our Snowy Polar World snow gear so we have to make due with layers and creativity.
The girls are in now, after an hour of play, drinking hot chocolate.  The boys are still out and about somewhere.  Brian is with them so I'm not too worried.

Good times.

snowmen with bones left behind...that was funny. I guess they are not just fluff afterall.

Look it is Nash sledding! I remember you taking him sledding when he was 2 or so. So fun, glad you got to enjoy a little snow.

I adore your house Corrie. I want to move to your neighborhood! I would love a little less snow - and instead have your trees.
