K- I'm happy. It is amazing what a good night sleep can do for the attitude. I went to sleep and woke up in the same position when my alarm went off. No roll over and back to sleeps. No peeking at the clock and being glad I still have 20 minutes.
Or it could have been the Duggars. They are now grandparents you know. After I put the kids to bed and got a few things done I rumped down in front of the telly to zone out for a few minutes before I turned in for the night. Brian has been out of town (I only mention that now because he is coming home sometime tonight so I am not putting myself in any kind of stranger danger!!! Eeek!) so I could watch whatever I wanted and somehow ended up on those Duggars. I've never watched them before. Before I knew it I had been voyeur-izing there goings on for 2 hours! ugh. two hours, gone forever.
But I had a great night sleep - two hours shorter than it could have possibly been. Or one hour shorter and a few chapters in my book. A good night sleep nonetheless.
So! I was going to post some funny pictures of our fall break trip, but I think Brian has the camera. I can't find it right now.
We went to Orlando and the great land of magical happiness. And I am only telling you now because we are home. I didn't want some troublemaker to break in and steal my grand collection of Civil War books, Star Trek memorabilia, Survivor table or my Kitchenaid. My sister "inherited" my Bosh mixer so if I lost the Kitchenaid I would be up a creek! I'm telling you.
My girls got ill on the trip. Fevers. They were not their normal cheery selves, so it wasn't the super funnest trip we've ever had, but it was nice to have Brian all to ourselves and another week of summer. Seriously, it was in the 90's every day we were there! crazy. I have a fancy farmer tan. Super cute.
Soooo...I'll put some pictures up when I find that camera. I hope Brian has it.

When I saw the title of your post I thought for sure that it was going to be all about how you talked to your buddy on the phone this morning and then saw her tonight at the church and how things just got better from that. Sleep? Really? That is so ... predictable.
No, really, I'm glad everyone is more happy and healthy, wealthy, and wise. and yay for husbands coming home!

Duggars what the heck, how does that mom stay so calm??? I can't turn the channel when it's on.
I hate being sick when on vacation. Remember the year on our way to your house in Regina I got the stomache flu 8 hours away from your house?????
It's a good thing that you didn't tell anyone you were gone I would hate to think that your books would collect dust on someone elses shelves. haha.

REally, you can have it back! if you ever feel like using it. Just know this...I use it every day and will cry.
